Finally got the muse back

Time, time go by

Thomas Was Alone and Remember Me are extremely catching. Well, at least one is near the end and the other is in good half of completed territory.

Even with that distracting me, we still managed to crank down on words.

Imagine sneezing eleven times in a row. Imagine hating the fact it isn't raining because pollen flies in the air. Imagine now being allergic to the olive tree, one of the few trees you can literally find everywhere around the town I live in.
Well, actually imagine being allergic to pretty much everything except concrete.
And I'm near the sea to boot, so I suppose if I lived in the countryside, I'd be dead to begin with.

Anyway, to Update on what I'm currently doing:

The sword of Humanity is at 301 words.

There is an exponential curve when I write, I have come to understand.

It is easier for me to complete the 4000 -> 5000 words rather than do the first 0->1000 words, but once I'm above then the rest flows easily.

If sneezing doesn't kill me first.

Apparently, I landed on TVtropes

As said on the title, I apparently managed to get not only on TvTropes (Which is by itself, at least personally and considering where and how I started, an achievement) but also a personal page all for Introverted.

Whoever created the page and whoever is filling it, you have my most sincere thanks!

And as an Addendum, I did change the genre from adventure-general to Angst and Hurt/comfort.

Now I'll devolve a bit into something else though...

I never plan for the stories' direction when I write them. That's why it was meant to be Adventure General. I had thought of making it a simple 'Naruto's shell is cracked through normal fluff with a different team'.

Now look at what it has become.

Sometimes, I am ashamed to admit that my muse both awes me and scares the hell out of me.

I lean mostly on the latter part though.

Just how does she manage to do that...I'll never know.

Starting with 'Wear N7 with pride' and moving to 'Swordland',. while passing through a few others like 'This is War' I end up with my trail of thoughts deranging from writing.
And to think I'm 'this' close to multi-updating again.

Introverted the new chapter is done. I'll try and finish other stories' chapters too before updating. Harry Wyllt is near completion, as is the Equalizer.

The Sword of Humanity

The Assimilation Plague actually generates 'Biosphere' to that of the desired 'conqueror' race. So it actually is to be considered canon that the plague actually 'converts' the race to another, and 'somehow' manages to make the air breathable without effort. (albeit there is damage to population and infrastructure because of chaos)

My Muse Came Back

My Muse was refuting to reveal itself to me. After a few chapters of something completely unrelated to anything fanfiction, it came back with the newest incoming chapter of Harry Dursley. 
Thankfully I hope these bouts won't last much longer.

My wrists have taken to hurt whenever I write. Sign of being an excessively 'writing' author or what? Maybe I should find another Keyboard rather than use the one of the laptop?

The muse is such a fickle thing that half of the time I wish I could force-choke her into submission, and the other half I don't know how to deal with her.

In any event, I've finished the new Chapter for Sword of Humanity, and am currently steaming through Introverted.

I've got the Harry Dursley and Grey Clouds loomed in working, and Multiversing with Harems is there taking dust in wait I've got another update to 'accompany' it with.

All nice for a Sunday afternoon/evening/night.

Thursdays will Kill my Soul

I barely wrote one hundred words today.
Damn I hate Thursdays.

The reason? 

University begins at Eight in the morning, and ends at four in the afternoon. Then comes the tiredness of having to study till Six in the afternoon and after that...

Sleepy, tired, manga and anime to watch...

Thursdays really kill my soul.

And my muse seems to hate my soul. Come on pal, work with me here! You can't be doing this to me, you can't force me with more plot bunnies! I've got enough on my plate already!

Grey Clouds loomed will probably be wrapped up nicely before it hits twenty-more chapters. There isn't much more to say of Vampire society, and the vast amount of things have already been done.

The Sword of Humanity

I always found strange how Saren had to attack Eden Prime with the Geth, and not ask for the Council help. Judging by how 'against reapers' the council is set, why not abuse that notion by using Saren as a 'spokeperson' to claim the Protheans were simply 'lost' somewhere else, and the Citadel's activation would bring them back?

That's the subtle difference in the fic.
Meaning the Council is aiming for its own destruction, without knowing.

Ino Yamanaka dies. A 'minor' character, but the consequences are always what truly matter in stories...the 'actions' are secondary to what will happen further down the road after all...

I'm feeling as if I'm using Blogspot as some sort of Tumblr, but then again where's the problem? I did say I'd use this to communicate with the readers...
(And it's not like there's any 'law' against writing multiple posts on the same day, as long as they hold some sort of sense in the context, right?)

That said, I'm glad to say I have solved the problem on why Naruto isn't taught Jutsus as a Genin. The Chapter will explain it to those I haven't told about it in the PM's, and thus should hopefully put a rock over the problem.

Post-Scriptum: seems people enjoy how I portray the Kyuubi, so...thanks guys, (or girls) you're making me blush.
PPS: seems people don't like mushy-weak Naruto of the first chapters. Meh. I warned you in the first chapter, flaming about it won't make me budge an inch. First comes the pain, then the gain. That's all.

I generally tend to update in 'bulk' so usually it's three-stories once, three another, rinse and repeat.

The thing with Solforce that always enticed me was their completley dictatorship approach, and yet at the same time the 'clear-cut' democratic side they could have. The Director is nothing less than a glorified tyrant in some case, and a democratically elected 'Humanity-leader'. 

A single man tasked with the leading of the entire Humanity controlled system.
If that man is Jack Harper and this is Mass Effect Universe, then all falls to pieces quite quickly.

Fun fact is that Solforce-Humanity is extremely right in being Xenophobic. First two contacts were war. Third one with the Liir had the potential for devastation. Fourth one is the Zuul. The Morrigi are sort of like the 'Romans' coming back to reconquer Europe but with technologically superior weaponry. The Loa hate all that is Carbon-based. With said 'neighbors' around, really...

No wonder First Contact War with the Turian went awry now, was it?

Grey Clouds Loomed

Harry as a vampire is surprisingly cunning, and yet the ministry's answer to such a mass kidnapping with relative fall won't pass by quietly. Having secured his position into the Vampire Hierarchy of London, he'll have to reach the end of the Triwizard tournament 'alive'...but will Hunters make their appearance eventually? Who knows...

One thing is certain though: never mess with a Kindred.

Multiversing with Harems

A Crack-Fic that apparently has gathered quite a bit of success. For those who haven't realized it yet, Na-rotsuchi and Nanoki have already made a cameo (in between the 'screams' of Naruto running away) and also Yugito's daughter is in the first chapters as the blond woman from Kumogakure.
Among other things, I'll need one day to do the complete list of characters 'to be' and those who already are...but until then, laugh out loud my minions, laugh out loud!

Harry Dursley and the Chronicles of the King

From the sketchy and wobbly beginnings, it is now the longest ever story I have written, and doesn't plan to end any time soon. This story is not my masterpiece, but it is a prototype. I don't have 'masterpieces' to begin with, so...

I am Shadenight123.


And this is how I began.

One day, I will look back to this day and claim 'Hell, what was I thinking?' before slamming a stiff drink through my guts while trying to forget about this.

In the meantime, I'll make do with what I have.

This is a Blog in which I, Shadenight123, will answer the questions in order to keep the Author's notes of my Fanfictions as clean and small as possible.

It is a honorable goal mine, clearly it will be a wonderful success.

We all know how that's going to end of course.

What can I say thus?

Well, first things first, I am a fanfiction writer on Fanfiction.net. Shadenight123 is there.

I wrote quite a bit, apparently more than two millions words since I began. (that's a lot, if you can believe it)

Furthermore, I also evolved.

Yes, like a Pokemon. 

I went from a horrible OC-insert story with little grammar to a strangely well-plotted but utterly horrific written one to finally, (god bless me) a normal written and hopefully well-plotted story theme.

Now, if I can get both writing and plot up to the level of 'optimal' I can finally begin my true objective of ruling the world through angst and tragedy.

...

Joking, of course.

I actually was on E-republik too at a certain time, and my morbidity in joke counting got me quite a few subscriptions on their online 'journal' of sort.

Yet here I am.

For how long? Well, with the Maya out of their way...

Only time will tell.
